Tips & Tricks:
- 🔪 This sauce can be made up to 5 day ahead and refrigerated. Or freeze for up to 3 months.
- 🥄 This recipe makes about 4 cups, so if you only want to make enough for the recipe, cut down the ingredients accordingly.
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup yellow mustard
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pinch or more of cayenne
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Dash of hot sauce
Directions:
- Whisk all of the ingredients together in a medium pot.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce and thicken.
- Use right away, or pour into a jar, let cool, then cover and refrigerate.
Reheat Options
- Sauce can be reheated in the microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Or place desired amount in a small-medium pot and warm at a simmer for 2 - 3 minutes.
